We begin with a review of the multiple choice portion of the test, where we explain what to expect on the day of the exam. Beginning with the first minute of the test, we create a game plan for the test and give 4 steps for students on how to determine text difficulty. We include an optional tip for students and then discuss how to approach each multiple choice passage (with a 3 step process). We address why we should annotate and offer a 3 step annotation guide. We include 3 after reading tips and two additional test taking strategies. Lastly, we spend the rest of the time putting our skills to practice using a released multiple choice passage, where we annotate and answer the questions.
